Washington Wizards at Indiana Pacers Odds, Ideas and Predictions

The Washington Wizards (31-36) Stop by Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday and play with the host at 7 p.m. ET Pacers (31-35). Below we analyze the Wizards-Pacers odds and lines, with NBA tips and predictions.

Washington has alternated between winning and losing in the last five games, most recently against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday with 131-129 hours of overtime. The Wizards are 8-1-1 against the spread in their last 10 games.

Indiana upset the Atlanta Hawks 133-126 as a 6-point underdog on Thursday but is only 2-4 in a row and against the spread in their last six games.

The Pacers were knocked down by the Wizards between 154 and 141 earlier this week, trying to avoid Washington’s three-game season sweep.

Wizards at Pacers: Odds, Lines, Predictions and Tips

forecast

Wizard 131, Pacemaker 119

Money line (ML)

CONSIST with a slight bias towards the Wizards (-160) as Washington’s late game sales can cost them an ATS win (as in the previous game with Toronto).

Also, I’d consider putting Washington’s money line in a parlay with another favorite at a similar price for a plus money payout.

Against the Spread (ATS)

“LEAN” to the WIZARDS -3.5 (-110) for three quarters of a unit as these teams are going in opposite directions and Washington is playing far better.

This is likely a play-in preview unless the Wizards can overtake the battered Charlotte Hornets for eighth in the East, but Washington has outperformed Indiana in the first two meetings and is playing better right now.

The Wizards had their way with the Pacers the other night and aside from the obvious peculiarities (SG Bradley Beal and PG Russell Westbrook), PF Rui Hachimura abused Indiana’s soft central defense.

Hachimura had 27 points in the 12v19 shootout and there is no reason to believe this will not continue on Saturday as Hachimura’s mid-range game is impressive and the Pacers are giving up the most points in color per game.

Indiana also gives up the most second chance points per game and Washington scores the most second chance points per game in the last 10 games.

Over / Under (O / U)

That total (248.5) is outside of my comfort zone and maybe this feeling will cost me money in the long run, but at this point I’ll just do it CONSIST.

There’s nothing Indiana’s defense can do to stop Washington, and the wizards have gone full weeks without a defense, so the under is a no-go.
