Two new eating places, craft sodas, and extra at Evansville Meals Information
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – We bring you three state restaurant events and food news you need to know. Check out this weekly feature to keep up to date.
Biscuit belly, our new restaurant specializing in extreme biscuit sandwiches, will open on July 17th in the Promenade district if everything goes according to plan. The Louisville restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch and offers items like The Rockwell Supreme – a buttermilk-fried chicken breast with cheddar cheese, Goetta sausage sauce, bacon and an egg on a biscuit, and the Edgy Veggie with roasted green tomato and mushroom sauce , Cheddar cheese and too simple an egg on a biscuit. Other non-biscuit items such as loaded breakfast rolls or hash browns, French toast and fruit cups will be available. You can also find Tractor Craft Soda here.

Brooklyn’s wing is another new mobile food store on the streets of Evansville. The menu includes cheeky wings, burgers and fries, steak pita with cheese and peppers, nachos, tacos and more. Menu can change. Watch the Facebook page for the days and hours of operation.

Inkas charcoal grill and bar will soon open on the north side of Evansville, in the former Japanese restaurant Iwataya. The locally run restaurant offers authentic Peruvian cuisine, including anticuchos (beef heart skewers), causa (potato pancakes with chicken filling), ceviche, traditionally marinated meat grilled on charcoal, and much more.

NOCO park is a new pop-up downtown party of food, drink, art, music, games, and more that will be held every weekend Friday through Sunday through September 26th, interactive art installations and exhibits, and more. You can find specific opening times and activities on the Facebook page.
