THOR Industries publishes outcomes of RV rental examine 2020 | Indiana
ELKHART, Ind., April 13, 2021 / PRNewswire / – THOR Industries, Inc. (NYSE: THO) today announced the release of the 2020 U.S. RV Rental Study, which examines consumer rental experiences, top motivators, and purchase likelihood. The RV industry giant will use the survey results to improve understanding of RV rental trends and make decisions within the THOR family of companies.
The 2020 RV Rental Study extensively confirmed the long-term profitability and growth of the RV industry and lifestyle, and found that a large percentage of renters are likely to purchase an RV after renting it. The survey, which includes information from people who first rented both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, examined renters from all regions of the United States. It included questions to assess consumers’ likelihood of purchasing a motorhome in the future, learn more about where and how motorhome renters are traveling, and how to achieve an improved overall experience.

- 73% would likely buy a motorhome
- 66% said they are most likely to buy within the next 6 to 11 months
- 80% would likely buy a motorhome similar to the one they rent

- 97% were happy with the experience
