Merchants Bank of Indiana Hires New VP, Business Development Officer, SBA Lending
CARMEL, Ind. – –Merchants Bank of Indiana(NASDAQ: MBIN) (“Merchants Bank”) today announced the hiring of Robert Stringer as Vice President, Business Development Officer, Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending. Stringer currently works from his home in Dallas, Texas.
Stringer brings more than 10 years of experience to his new position at Merchants Bank, most recently as Senior Vice President and Loan Officer at Bank of Hope in Dallas. In that role, Stringer was responsible for more than $ 6 million in SBA 7 (a) loans.
In his new role at Merchants Bank SBA Lending, Stringer will be responsible for the issuance of SBA 7 (a) and 504 loans, as well as the use of his existing referral network and business contacts in the Dallas area and throughout the larger central south region . In addition, Stringer will oversee strategy development for generating new business and more.
