McDonald drives Arizona previous Indiana and into the Last 4
SAN ANTONIO (AP) – Aari McDonald scored 33 points and No. 3 Seed Arizona defeated No. 4 Indiana 66-53 to win his first trip to the Final Four of the NCAA women’s tournament. McDonald did everything for the Wildcats, from slashed drives to a built-in 3-pointer. She briefly left the game with one ankle at 2:35, but hobbled back and scored six more points. Arizona advanced to the national semifinals on Friday against UConn. Mackenzie Holmes scored 20 points for Indiana, which played its first Elite Eight game.
