Lively climate till Thursday – WISH-TV | Indianapolis Information | Indiana climate
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – We will continue to track showers and storms during our Wednesday night and Thursday.
Wednesday night: A flash flood watch will be in effect in almost the southern third of the state until Thursday evening.
Keep your rain gear handy when you go out tonight as showers and storms continue into the night.
On this evening there is still the possibility of occasional strong to severe storms. The main threats are harmful winds and hail. Flood problems can occur in areas primarily south of Interstate 70.
Another mild night will be on tap with windy winds. Lows will only fall in the mid-50s to mid-60s.
Thursday: The rain showers last until sunrise on Thursday morning. A few isolated showers and storms will last until Thursday afternoon before we slowly dry out on Thursday evening.
Temperatures will be a little cooler for our Thursday as we will climb into the lower to upper 60s.
Friday: We will enjoy a much quieter day to end the work week and the month of April with partly sunny skies and windy winds. The highs are reached in the lower to mid-1960s.
8-day forecast: A quick warm up will flow into the state as we start the month of May on Saturday. The highs will transition from the low to the high 70s from Saturday through Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, spotty showers with better chances of rain for the coming Monday and Tuesday are possible. The highs appear to stay above average until next Wednesday before we drop into the low 60s for next Thursday.
