INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) – The board of directors of Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. has elected Jennett Hill to succeed Clay Robbins as its next president. Hill takes over the role on February 2nd. Robbins will remain chairman and chief executive officer of the foundation.
Hill is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the Citizens Energy Group. According to the philanthropic organization, Hill was a partner in the law firm Faegre Baker Daniels, now Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLC. Hill practiced nonprofit and tax exempt law while at FBD.
“With her keen intellect, impeccable character, relevant experience and gracious manner, Jennett will be a valuable addition to the Foundation’s leadership team,” said Robbins. “Their commitment to their beliefs and the advancement of the goals and values of the founders of dndowment in contemporary contexts will serve the foundation and the causes it seeks to advance well. I am very much looking forward to her starting her new role at the foundation at the beginning of next year. “
Hill serves on several boards including the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation Inc., the Arthur Jordan Foundation, the Indiana Energy Association, and the Riley Children’s Foundation.
