ISDH: 786 new COVID-19 instances; 2 extra deaths – WISH-TV | Indianapolis Information | Indiana climate
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana State Department of Health has released new COVID-19 data.
According to ISDH, 786 other Hoosiers tested positive for COVID-19. These tests were recorded on July 22nd.
A total of 764,448 Hoosiers tested positive for COVID-19.
According to ISDH, two other Hoosiers have died of COVID-19. These deaths were recorded on July 21st.
A total of 13,537 Hoosiers have died of COVID-19. Another 428 “probable” deaths have occurred but one positive test is not on record.
The 7-day positivity rate for individuals is 10.9%. The 7-day positivity rate for all tests is 5.4%.
There are currently 591 Hoosiers in the hospital with COVID-19.
A total of 11,111,463 tests were performed on 3,646,953 Hoosiers.
ISDH says 5,808,738 doses of vaccine have been given to Hoosiers and 2,918,458 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
Accordingly the Regenstrief Institute, 733,886 Hoosiers are said to have recovered from the virus.
