ISDH: 448 new COVID-19 instances; 19 extra deaths – WISH-TV | Indianapolis Information | Indiana climate

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Department of Health has released new data.

According to ISDH, 448 other Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19. These tests were recorded on May 28th.

A total of 743,338 Hoosiers tested positive for COVID-19.

19 more Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, which occurred between February 27 and May 28, according to ISDH.

A total of 13,198 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19. Another 417 “likely” deaths have occurred, but no positive test is known.

The 7-day positivity rate for individuals is 10.0%. The 7-day positivity rate for all tests is 4.8%.

There are currently 746 Hoosiers in the hospital with COVID-19.

A total of 10,495,364 tests were performed on 3,496,271 Hoosiers.

ISDH says Hoosiers have received 5,150,374 doses of vaccine and 2,507,121 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.

According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins UniversityGlobally, there have been more than 169,557,000 confirmed cases with more than 3,525,000 deaths.
