Indiana Meals Truck Park in progress
The park’s founder, TK Kelly, said plans are underway for the park in the city’s southeastern neighborhood and that the park will help put food truck operators in trouble, according to a report from Wane.com.
Kelly said the goal is to start with six trucks and climb to ten.
“So some will come in for a week and some for a month or two,” Kelly told the news agency. “Some may like it so much and realize that we are bringing the audience to them and they will sign up for a year.”
The park will be developed in phases and the third phase will include vertical farm land, some retail stores, fire pits, seating and parking.
