Indiana man killed 4, kidnapped child after quarrel, police say

(AP) – say a man suspected of killing three adults and a child and abducting his young daughter drew a gun and opened fire after a heated argument in an Indianapolis home.

The baby’s mother was also wounded. The 6 month old girl was later found unharmed.

A police spokeswoman says 25-year-old Malik Halfacre was arrested in the attic of another on Sunday evening.

Prison records show Halfacre was held on Monday on charges of preliminary murder, attempted murder and other charges.

Police identified him on Sunday as “the suspect” in the Saturday night murders of two men, a woman and a 7-year-old girl.
