Indiana hires Mike Woodson as the lads’s basketball head coach

, Ind. (WKYT) – has announced that it will be hiring Mike Woodson as its new men’s coach.

Welcome home, Coach Woodson.

Woodson played for the Hoosiers and ended his career as Indiana’s second 2,000-point goalscorer.

Woodson has coached the NBA 22 of the past 23 seasons, including serving as the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks. He’s never trained at the college level, but played for Bob Knight.
