Indiana Basketball Recruitment Information: Jaylen Fisher, three for Hoosier Hysteria, is pulling out of Indiana go to

Here’s a round-up of some of the recent days’ tidbits and news on goals:

Oral commitments

– Curtis Jones started the recruiting party last weekend by becoming the 2nd member of the 2016 class. His commitment is great, not just for what he thinks about the future but also for those who might join him as his Huntington Prep teammate Miles Bridges, who has up to three schools (IU, Kentucky, MSU) , may try to join him.

Official visits on the docket

– 2016 4-star PF De’Ron Davis will be making an official visit to Bloomington this weekend. There seems to be a positive dynamic here as Tom Crean just made a call to Davis in Aurora, Colorado.

– Mario Kegler (2016 SF, # 32 overall) will make his official visit to IU on the weekend of October 24th.

Hoosier Hysteria visitor

– I am sure that Kegler’s official visit will take place during this year’s Hoosier Hysteria (October 24th).

– Also present in 2017 will be the 5-star Paul Scruggs, who appears for the second time in a row at the Hoosier Hysteria.

– More visitors will be announced in the coming days and weeks and we will update them as soon as the news comes in.

Narrow the field

– Rawle Alkins took to Twitter to slightly tweak his final list, which still includes Indiana. The schools involved are as follows

Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, NCState, North Carolina, UNLV, St. Johns

– Trevon Duval (# 3 overall) narrowed his list to 36. Yeah, sure, whatever.

– After a home visit to 4-star Jaylen Fisher, was part of three PG 2016 finalists including Baylor, Memphis and IU. He has since said he won’t be bringing an officer to Indiana this morning.

Out of the race

– De’Riante Jenkins, who once had serious impulses for Indiana, dropped out of the 2016 recruitment picture just as quickly when he arrived. He signed with VCU this week.
