Hoosier firm among the many finest employers for variety – WISH-TV | Indianapolis Information | Indiana climate
(Inside INdiana Business) – Ten Indiana companies are featured in Forbes’ 2021 ranking of America’s Best Diversity Places. The list includes 500 companies based on employee surveys that identified companies as “most focused on diversity, equity and inclusion”.
The publication partnered with research firm Statista to survey 50,000 Americans who work for companies with 1,000 or more employees. In addition to the surveys, the list also takes into account the diversity of board and leadership positions within a company, as well as DEI initiatives and any recent allegations or unresolved litigation related to workplace diversity.
The Indianapolis Community Health Network is the highest-rated Indiana company on the list, ranked 29th. Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), based in Columbus, and Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE: LLY) of Indy are also among them Top 100 at No. 41 and No. 99.

Commercial real estate company JLL tops this year’s list, followed by IT consultancy Booz Allen Hamilton, Quicken Loans, the University of Alabama – Birmingham and Fidelity Investments.
