(Inside INdiana Business) – Governor Eric Holcomb has announced that Michelle Allen will serve as director of the Office of Administrative Law Proceedings. She has been working as Interim Director since December 2020.

Allen joined the Office of Administrative Law Proceedings when it launched in July 2020 as Assistant Director and General Counsel.

In her new role, Allen is responsible for administering the office, recruiting administrative judges, and appointing judges for the trial.

Administrative judges resolve disputes between government agencies and those affected by the agency’s decisions.

Allen previously worked for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security as Assistant General Counsel and Project Manager.
