Good warming development forward – WISH-TV | Indianapolis Information | Indiana climate
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – We worked in windy winds on our Tuesday which resulted in slightly cooler air getting into the state. The sunshine definitely helped us as it didn’t feel too cold in the afternoon hours.
Tuesday night: Frost indications are in place for much of the state overnight through Wednesday morning.
The winds will ease a bit and the sky will be partly cloudy. Overall, we have a colder night ahead as our lows will fall by the mid-30s.
Wednesday: We’ll have a cold start to our Wednesday, but sunshine will help us warm up nicely in the afternoon hours. Light winds make for a comfortable feeling as our highs peak in the low 60s.
Thursday: The gradual warming trend continues through Thursday with mostly bright skies and dry times. The highs will rise until the mid-1960s.
8-day forecast: The general weather pattern will continue to improve if we end the work week with near-average temperatures. We’ll be going back to the 70’s by Sunday, but that will come with the return of the chance of rain. Additional rain and storm probabilities are likely to persist in the first half of next week with temperatures almost above average.
