Fort Wayne Police Division arrests a person for the homicide of an toddler loss of life
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Waynes NBC) – Shortly after a murder suspect was released from custody, he is back in custody and is charged with murder on the beating death of an infant.
Fort Wayne police said they arrested 27-year-old Shaquille Rowe shortly after he was released from Allen County Jail.
Rowe’s previous allegations allowed him to leave bail, but he is now charged with murder.
He now faces murder, heavy battery, minor battery causing death and neglect of an addict resulting in fatalities.
Authorities say Rowe is implicated in the death of his girlfriend’s 17-month-old boy.
A coroner’s report found that the child had died of blunt violent injuries to his chest and that the child’s death was considered homicide.
