Financial Membership of Indiana Returns To Form – WISH-TV | Indianapolis Information | Indiana climate
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) – The Economic Club of Indiana will open its new speaking season on Wednesday, which aims to further discuss social and economic issues. The organization is returning to its tradition of hosting in-person lunches in downtown Indianapolis after going virtual last year due to the pandemic.
The monthly lunches typically draw more than 500 attendees at the Indiana Convention Center.
“While it’s not an easy decision to make given the current surge in COVID cases, one of the things that attendees value most is giving our community the opportunity to network,” said Jenny Pfeil, director of fund development at Economic Club of Indiana, in an email to Inside INdiana Business.
The first lunch will present the journalist and author Clarence Page. Other speakers this season include Senator Todd Young (R-IN), Eli Lilly and Co. Chief Executive Officer Dave Ricks and American Red Cross CEO Gail McGovern.
