Fees filed towards Vauhxx Booker who says he was a sufferer of hate crimes – WISH-TV | Indianapolis Information | Indiana climate

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – A special attorney filed criminal charges against. placed Vauhxx books, a man who says he was a victim of a hate crime on July 4, 2020.

Booker claims a group of people threatened him at Lake Monroe. Booker is accused of battery and trespassing.

He responded to the allegations on social media, request that they be dropped. He also calls on Special Prosecutor Sonia Leerkamp to resign.

Booker said at a press conference Monday afternoon that the process he went through was “humiliating and defeating”. One of his lawyers said Monday that investigators into the incident did not act properly.

A hearing is scheduled for September 13th at 1:30 p.m., according to one of Booker’s attorneys.

Sean Purdy and Jerry Cox were previously charged with assaulting Booker. They claim he instigated the incident. They are expected at Monroe Circuit Court 2 on August 20th.
