Extra corporations in Indiana are getting ready to reopen this weekend
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – On Wednesday, Governor Eric Holcomb announced that the third phase of the Back on Track Indiana Plan will begin on Friday.
During this phase, several stores and recreational activities will open across the state.
These include gyms and fitness centers such as Fitness Solutions in Terre Haute.
After months of closure, the green light was given for the reopening this weekend.
Employees and customers are also looking forward to this.
“Very family-oriented feeling. We’ve been in contact with a lot of members and they just nibble on getting back in,” said Chris Davies.
Of course, the reopening comes with some guidelines.
“The social distancing. We also provide masks and recommend and encourage everyone to wear one whether we are indoors or out. We do extra steam cleaning, disinfection and the like, ”said Davies.
Even though they were closed, Fitness Solutions could still reach customers through virtual workouts.
It is so successful that many customers want to use this service even after the gym has reopened.
“It really changed the way we thought about the whole brick and mortar thing and moved us more towards the virtual, so it’s something we can look forward to in the future,” said Davies.
In person or virtual, Davies looks forward to everyone getting back on their fitness journey.
“Everyone who does this for a living enjoys communicating with people and interacting with people on a daily basis.
It’s important to note that testing, tracking, and case numbers all have an impact on moving on to the next phase.
Different regions may have to adapt if health goals fall behind.
If everything goes according to plan, everything should be fully open again by July 4th.
