Booker is a player we have been covering here since April when he showed up in the travel industry with his George Hill All Indy U-16 roster. Cathedral High School (Indianapolis, Ind.) Product climbed the Rivals 2023 rankings earlier this month, from unrated to 35th in the class nationwide.

This ranking reflects Booker’s immense potential as a potential customer. At 6-foot-10, he’s showing signs of a truly modern striker with inside and outside skills and a length that can get him into the NBA as he develops. Right now, Booker has the attention of great college basketball coaches.

“What college coaches really notice is its length,” Cathedral head coach Jason Delaney told The Daily Hoosier recently of Booker. “He’s so long and he can block shots and take different places on the court, and he can rise above other people because he’s that length.

“The other is his shooting. He can knock over an open jumper from the outside. The bigger you are, the more things you can do, the more attractive you become to college coaches. “

Booker was a standout vendor by 2023 at the Pangos event in Las Vegas earlier this month. 247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi was very impressed and has seen Booker making progress over the past few months.

“The aspiring Junior Big Man from Indianapolis continued to impress me with his long-term potential,” wrote Bossi. “I was also impressed with how far Booker has come since I first saw him in early April. He pushes about six feet and is a lean, tall man who can really run across the ground, protect the edge a bit, spin for dunks, and also has enough shooting skills to force other tall ones to get up to three Dots line to defend what opens things up in color to everyone else. I’m starting to sound like a broken record that makes it stand out at every opportunity, but I really like its potential. “

Indiana joined a rapidly growing recruitment that includes Kansas State, Louisville, Purdue, Notre Dame, TCU, Ohio State, LSU, all high major schools that have offered, and others.
