163 new optimistic COVID-19 circumstances reported in Vanderburgh County

On Friday, the Indiana Department of Health reported an increase in new positive COVID-19 cases in Vanderburgh County.

163 new positive cases of the virus have been identified in the county of Vanderburgh, making a total of 23,431 positive cases of the virus identified in the county, according to the ISDH report on Friday.

The county hasn’t seen a higher number of new positive COVID-19 cases in a day since Jan. 14, when 174 new positive cases of the virus were reported.

The new COVID-19 cases reported in Vanderburgh County on Friday accounted for about 11% of the new cases reported nationwide, with 1,461 new positive cases of the virus reported across the state.
